In plain English: the quiz is free and for fun, your result isn't expertise, we only use your details to send you your result and (if you opt in) our newsletter, and every painting shown is openly licensed. The full terms are below.
Using Art DNA
Art DNA is free to take. By using it you agree to these terms and to our handling of your details as described below. If you don't agree, please don't use the quiz.
The result is not expertise
Your result is a playful match against ten historical schools of Indian painting, based on ten quiz answers — it's a starting point for curiosity, not an art-historical assessment or a claim about you.
Your details
If you sign in to see your result, we store your name, email and Google account details, plus your quiz answers and result, so we can send it to you and (if you say yes) the occasional email about Indian art. Write to us any time to see, correct or delete what we hold.
The paintings
Every artwork shown in the quiz is sourced from Wikimedia Commons under a public-domain or open licence. See the image credits page for the artist, licence and source link for each one.
Everything else on the site
The quiz text, questions, scoring logic, design and Art DNA name belong to Project Bhaskar. Please don't reproduce or resell them without asking first.
Fair use of the service
Please don't try to break, scrape at scale, or interfere with the quiz, or use it to collect other people's data without their knowledge.
No guarantees
We built this carefully, but we offer it as-is, without warranties of any kind, and we're not liable for how you use or interpret your result.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the project grows — we'll change the date below when we do. Any question about these terms can go to hello@adaptiv.me. These terms are governed by Indian law, and any dispute falls under the courts of Ajmer, Rajasthan.
